Karrie Fransman exhibition

This solo exhibition by comic creator Karrie Fransman‘s (The Guardian, The Times, Random House) plays with the boundaries of the comic medium by fitting comics in weird and wonderful places- dolls houses, jewellery boxes and quilts. With the advance of digital technologies, comics are escaping their paper covers and spilling out into the world, becoming visual and interactive.

Exhibition runs from 22nd June – 19 July

Sina Sparrow exhibition at Blush Bar

A one day children’s comics event as part of the Pop-Up Festival, Kings Cross. Come revel in the wonderful world of comics, with picture books and comics creator Sarah McIntyre! Learn from some of the UK’s top comics creators how to create your very own comic from start to finish – plus live drawing duels, talks and giant story wheels. So join Sarah and her friends Neill Cameron, Gary Northfield, Jamie Smart, Nana Li, Jamie Littler and David O’Conell for an utterly awesome comics adventure!

Support Badger the movie

A London based documentary and animation team is bringing Howard Hardiman’s beloved comic Badger to life in a new animated film that will also contain footage of the process of making Howard’s comic and its relevance to mental health issues.
