Continuing the new hour-long series on Resonance FM in which Alex Fitch talks to creators of audio dramas that have been broadcast on radio or released on CD and mp3 download, in a bimonthly slot alternating with the Electric Sheep Film Show.

In this episode, playwright Timothy X Atack and author Naomi Alderman talk about their genre bending work. Fitch and Atack explore the latter’s BBC Radio plays The Morpeth Carol, Phonophone and The Stroma Sessions, plus his Doctor Who audio dramas Jonah and The Wreck of the World. At a conference on Zombie fiction at the University of Brighton, guest presenter Ewan Kirkland talks to Alderman about her scripts for the immersive fitness app Zombies, Run!, which adds an aural survival horror narrative to a runner’s soundtrack as they travel across the landscape.
