Performing The Search Engine and The Wolf of Baghdad: In a panel chaired by Alex Fitch, in front of a live audience at ‘Graphic Brighton presents: Caption’, cartoonist The Surreal McCoy and musician DJ Food discuss their projects The Wolf of Baghdad and The Search Engine, the former a wordless graphic novel set to Arabic music by 3Ayin, and the latter an album with art by 2000AD artist Henry Flint. The Surreal McCoy talks about the challenges of working on her first long form project and how the music performance will be timed to an animated version of the graphic novel, while DJ Food describes how the artwork from his album is incorporated into the stage version of his sets.
